Methodology, privacy and quality
GeminiEraser is an independent browser-based utility for supported visible Gemini and Veo-style watermarks. The goal is simple: provide a transparent tool that processes selected media locally whenever the browser workflow permits.
How it works
The video workflow samples frames, detects supported watermark candidates, applies calibrated cleanup, and encodes a downloadable result. The image workflow uses a browser-local restoration pipeline. A before-and-after view lets users inspect the result before downloading it.
Privacy by design
The normal processing workflow is client-side. Your selected source media is represented in the browser and does not need to be uploaded to a watermark-removal server. Browser model assets may be fetched from configured public CDNs, but the source media remains in the local processing workflow.
Quality and limitations
Results depend on source resolution, compression, motion, watermark placement, browser capabilities, and the exact visible watermark pattern. GeminiEraser targets supported visible marks and does not claim to remove invisible provenance signals such as SynthID. Always review the exported result before publishing it.
Responsible use
Use the tool only with media you have the right to edit. Removing a watermark does not transfer copyright or other rights in the underlying content.
